This will be the 12th state that the online sports entertainment company offers real money gaming in. RSI is currently regulated in Pennsylvania, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Michigan, Indiana, Virginia, Colorado, Iowa, West Virginia and now Arizona.

People over the age of 21 can register, bet, deposit funds and withdraw payments from the sportsbook app for iOS and Android devices.

Independent gaming research firm, Eilers & Krejcik, rated the RSI mobile sportsbook the third-best app out of 35 in the US. The online sportsbook offers its users a plethora of betting options on a number of games, leagues and players.

In addition, new betting tips and other features will be available alongside an extensive library of live streaming content, an advanced stats centre, player search functionality and real-time game tracker visualisations.

Richard Schwartz, RSI CEO, said: “We are excited to bring our gaming platform to Arizona, marking the second state in as many months where we have launched online sports betting. Moreover, with the sports calendar in full swing, and with the Arizona Cardinals near the top of the NFL, BetRivers could not be arriving in Arizona at a better time.”

Earlier this year, in August, RSI announced a multi-year partnership with the professional indoor football franchise, the Arizona Rattlers.

Schwartz said: “We are grateful for the trust and partnership of the Arizona Rattlers as well as the Arizona Department of Gaming, and look forward to delivering responsible, player-first entertainment to sports enthusiasts across the state.”
