Imagine Live has received approval from the Swedish Gambling Authority to offer its gaming portfolio in Sweden.

This decision allows Imagine Live to expand its operations within regulated European markets and reflects the company’s adherence to the strict standards set by Swedish regulators.

The approval process involved a detailed evaluation by the Swedish Gambling Authority, known for its rigorous regulatory standards.

This licensing permits Imagine Live to provide its suite of live dealer games, which includes classic casino games such as blackjack, baccarat and roulette, as well as game-show style offerings like “Robin The Fair.”

Earlier this year, Imagine Live formed a partnership with SoftGamings, a platform provider in the iGaming industry. This collaboration allows Imagine Live’s games to be integrated into SoftGamings’ platform, expanding access to its content for operators.

Imagine Live’s expansion into Sweden comes amid ongoing regulatory efforts by the Swedish Gambling Authority to maintain a compliant and secure gaming environment. The authority has recently taken actions against unlicensed operators, including banning several companies from operating without the necessary licences.

This approval for Imagine Live aligns with the authority’s objective to ensure that all gambling activities are conducted by licensed operators.

Imagine Live’s approval follows similar developments in the industry, such as Galaxsys obtaining a Swedish licence to offer its games in the country. These approvals highlight the interest among gaming providers to operate within regulated markets, taking advantage of the established legal framework to ensure compliance and consumer safety.

In May 2024, Imagine Live had appointed Barry Mahon as CCO. With 30 years of industry experience, Mahon’s role is expected to support the company’s strategic growth and operational initiatives as it navigates new markets.
