UPshow launches new sportsbook platform for in-venue TV screens

According to the Chicago-based company, retailers can choose from a number of UPshow’s sportsbook partners to enhance their on-site digital sports betting experience.

Retailers can also bring their own sportsbooks on board and have UPshow leverage data and APIs to create what it claims is “a one-of-a-kind sports betting experience.”

“There isn’t a hospitality brand with a sports ethos that isn’t thinking about how to launch a sportsbook strategy and experience in-venue,” said Adam Hirsen, the CEO of UPshow.

“This is why we added sports betting functionality to UPshow’s already robust engagement platform.”

UPshow bills itself as “the leading in-venue entertainment and marketing platform” with a focus on developing interactive digital TV networks for retail and hospitality businesses.

The company’s sportsbook integrations typically allow fans to register, deposit funds and place bets on their favourite teams directly from their mobile devices.

Several sportsbooks also use UPshow’s platform to boost their exposure on TV screens in some of the largest venues, looking to reach a new audience in the digital out-of-home landscape.

It displays betting odds and prop bets from all sports leagues across TV screens in casinos and resorts nationwide.
