The PGA Tour heads to Detroit, Michigan, for the Rocket Mortgage tournament, a relatively new event, as it took place for the first time in 2019.
The event is one of the three ones left on the PGA Schedule before the start of the Open Championship in late July and its straightforward Par 72 usually translates into much lower scoring among golfers. Four of the five tournament’s winners recorded a score of -23 or better.
156 participants will compete at the Rocket Mortgage, with 10 of the world’s top 50 ranked golfers ready to showcase their skills in this year’s tournament edition.
The current champion, Rickie Fowler, will try to defend the title, while players like Cameron Young, Akshay Bhatia, Will Zalatoris, Tom Kim, and Min Woo Lee will be among the favorites to emerge victorious.
