TPC Deere Run of the Quad City region is one of the top five courses in Illinois. Since 2000, it has hosted the PGA TOUR’s annual John Deere Classic.

As the FedEx Cup playoffs are near, the PGA Tour is seeing some unexpected changes and withdrawals. Cam Davis pulled out of the tournament on Monday, leaving a leaderboard featuring defending champion Sepp Straka, recent contender Aaron Rai, and Jordan Spieth. Our thoughts are with Patrick Cantlay, who suffered an injury during a training session. Cantlay has been showing improvement at the US Open in Cromwell, and we hope we’ll see him in good form at The Open.
The PGA Tour, coming back to the Quad Cities, will also feature two-time event winner, Jordan Spieth, last year’s victor Sepp Straka, and Jason Day for the first time since 2011.
Jason Day remembers the Super 8 where he stayed in 2006 for the John Deere Classic: "My caddie at the time, Colin, you walk into his room and it had a heart-shaped bathtub right next to the bed. It was like high rent stuff back then." pic.twitter.com/52ZLmb0Bxd
