The English player, Dimmock, posted a three-under par 70 in the final round, finishing at 19 under, sharing the lead with France’s Bouchard, who delivered an impressive round of 65.

Dimmock, 27, clinched the victory after the second hole in the playoff.

“I’m a bit shell-shocked at the moment,” Dimmock said, noting her connection to Ireland through her mother, who hails from Cork. “I’m standing here and feel like I’m in a dream, honestly. It’s pretty cool to do it in Ireland.”

Reflecting on her journey, Dimmock, who previously won the Jabra Ladies Open in 2019, added, “I’ve worked really hard to get myself back. It’s not just me; there are a lot of people on my team.”

“There’s a lot that goes into getting me back fit—blood, sweat, and tears. It hasn’t been easy for my family and everyone around me, but we’ve made it back.”

The two leaders finished one shot ahead of Finland’s Ursula Wikstroem, with Chiara Tamburlini from Switzerland ending up at 17 under.

Home favorite Leona Maguire achieved her best round of the tournament with a score of 68, concluding at 10 under.
